Hello, everyone,
As we close out a busy September, we want to thank everyone who
posted and read the month's voluminous and thoughtful contributions
on Critical Spatial Practice. We're especially grateful to our
inspiring guests who carved out time, frequently in the midst of
international travel and across time zones, to share with us their
thoughts and practice. We've personally learned a tremendous
amount and have been prompted to think deeply about the respective
spaces of our artistic and critical practices.
So, our deep thanks to go this month's special guests: Millie Chen,
James Way, Catherine Ingraham, Kevin Hamilton, Maurice Benayoun,
Alice Micelli, Markus Miessen and Teddy Cruz.
-empyre-lives and thrives as a collaborative practice dependent on
the intellectual and artistic generosity of its guests and
participants. We are happy to benefit from the fruits of shared,
critical discourse.
Nicholas Ruiz should soon be posting an announcement of October's
special consideration of the poetics of dna. We're very much looking
forward to this, Nicholas.
All our best,
Renate and Tim
